New Features Update: Streamline your payouts

Plus more in-depth charger statuses on your dashboard.

Spring is almost springing, and you know what that means… we’re getting into Roadtrip Season. Fortunately, we’ve just gone live with a few new features and fixes that should make tackling that extra traffic a bit easier.

Let’s dig in, shall we?

Streamlining your bank deposits

If you're making bank off your charger network, it's always best to get that money to your actual bank where you want it. Now you can enter your banking information directly into your ChargeLab dashboard and maintain it yourself, so your direct deposits always go exactly where you want them.

You’ll see a reminder in the dashboard to enter your banking info (if you haven’t already), or you can navigate straight to the Company tab in the Admin section. Follow the Provide info prompts and fill out those fields.

Once you’re all set up, payouts will go straight to your designated account. If you switch banks or want to route to a different account, you can make those changes at any time.

That should make routing (or re-routing) your payouts a lot more seamless. Just open your ChargeLab dashboard to get started.

Active charging statuses on the dashboard

You’re probably used to seeing your charger statuses in the dashboard by now, but we’re going a little more granular. Now you’ll also see OCPP transactional statuses as well, giving you a more complete picture of your deployments.

So alongside the broader status icon, you’ll also see:

  • Charging: Charging session in progress
  • Paused by vehicle:  Vehicle has reached charging limit OR charging schedule enabled
  • Paused by charger: See OCPP messages for analysis

You don’t need to commit all that to memory. Simply hover over the status for a tooltip definition and a timestamp. You can filter your chargers by transaction statuses, too.

And a few more things...

  • PayGo is leaving beta on May 1, moving all drivers from end-of-the-month billing cycles to the pay-as-you-go model. Check out our FAQ for details.
  • Time zones now automatically added when adding new locations in the Dashboard
  • Driver app: “Stop” button updated to include idle fees scenarios where transactions must be manually ended

  • White label network displays now available through the ChargeLab API. See our documentation for details

  • Reliability improvements for demo chargers and test automations

  • Fixed: Bulk editing the charger map visibility

  • Fixed: Driver web app was blanking until chargers sent a meter value message
